✈️ Lightspeed and Life-Saving Deliveries: 247 Aviations in the Holiday Spirit!

Tonight 247 Aviation are experiencing a rush of holiday magic – the kind that soars through the skies with purpose! Our trusty Learjet is currently engaged in a critical mission: transporting a lifesaving organ for transplant on behalf of NHSBT. 🫀

While Santa might have the edge on sleigh bells and reindeers.
Our Learjet has priority clearance (Cat A flight!) and is making lightning-fast progress, weaving through the airspace alongside jolly old Saint Nick himself.

All at 247 Aviation, IMT Medical and Jet Assist are incredibly proud to support NHSBT organ retrieval. Many thanks to the team working over Christmas to make it happen.

247 Aviation Air Ambulance medical staff Judith, Christopher and Jeanette have successfully completed the Resuscitation Council UKs Advanced Life Support (ALS) course, a significant accomplishment that reflects their dedication and hard work.
247 Aviation is dedicated to investing in the expertise of our flight nurses and has committed to providing the entire medical team with this advanced, critical training, demonstrating our unwavering trust in their ability to deliver exceptional care to our patients.
ALS is a 2 day course that covers numerous essential skills in treatment of a patient in a critical care setting including resuscitation, adult CPR, recognition and management of a deteriorating patient. This ALS qualification, recognised by the European Resuscitation Council and the Australian resuscitation Council is an important part of the emergency medical system. It can significantly improve the chances of survival for patients in cardiac arrest and other life-threatening emergencies. This training provides healthcare professionals with the essential knowledge of life-saving protocols and skills that extend beyond Basic Life Support (BLS).
With quarterly continuing professional development (CPD) training days for medical staff as well as the ALS training, it is a testament to 247 Aviation Air Ambulances strong focus on continuing professional growth and quality of care.
