I am running the Great North Run in September with my dear friend Katie Ryder in memory of her mum Isobel Brown who sadly passed away earlier this year. The Marie Curie were absolutely fantastic in looking after Isobel and in supporting her husband David, and children Katie and Tim. The Brown family have been friends of my family for over 45 years so when Katie asked me to join her in running the GNR in aid of this charity I did not hesitate to say yes. I thought my GNR days were over so no great times expected just a day with my bestie filled with tears and laughter! Any donations would be great but messages of love and support are also appreciated to get us over the finish line. Thanks, Tory.
