Testing testing!
Right, now I'm in charge of the Bembridge Taxis social media, its time to have some fun!
The general idea is to offer people a bit of a discount on the meter rate on my Friday night shifts, in return for letting me roll the camera for the duration of the ride, and if you agree to let me use the content for that days Facebook story / reel, then you'll get a bit more off. (Nothing will be permenant record, everything will be automatically deleted after 24 hours.)
If you''re really good, (and I'm feeling extra generous) you could get up to 40% off your fare! (That means I earn nothing, you'll have to be good to get that!)
We can run a few different themes and you are free to pick which one before we start the ride, depending on your mood. (You can also opt out completely, if you don't want to participate.)
Here's some initial ideas for the 'Ride Menu':
*The Stand Up*
We take it in turns to make each other laugh as much as possible, using any means necessary. (Keep your clothes on though, please.)
*The Philosopher*
We ask each other deeply philosophical questions about the meaning of life, God, the universe and which one is Ant and which one is Dec.
*The Voice - Mobile Edition*
For the budding singers! Come and sing along to your favourite track, if you want I'll give you some feedback (you can chose your level of brutality). If I know the words, maybe I'll even join in!
Alternatively, for a tip, I'll sing instead of you and you can rate me (the tip better be proportional to how brutal you are. 🤣)
*The Roast*
We spend the entire journey being as insulting as possible to each other.
*The Soapbox*
Get up on your soapbox and have a rant about something. I may challenge you. It may get heated. I have boxing gloves in the boot.
*Dragons Den*
Come and pitch your business! Tell us what you do, and why we should all come and patronise your establishment.
*The Silent Treatment*
We say nothing, I just keep looking at you in the rear view mirror being all creepy.
