We have had quite a few new patients recently so I thought I’d share a bit about our Medical Director.

Dr Kieron Cooney is a distinguished GP with a Cambridge Medical Degree 🎓, holding a Masters in Medical Aesthetics. As a full member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine and a fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners, his expertise shines through. Dr Cooney is a dedicated trainer for new GPs and an examiner for the College of GPs. Alongside his medical commitments as a senior partner in St. Helens medical centre, he is also a talented musician 🎶🎵, having performed with the renowned band Wight Hot Pipes at prestigious venues like Glastonbury, Switzerland, and New York.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr Cooney has raised thousands of pounds for local island charities and can often be seen (heard 🙉😂!) piping at various events across the island including piping on Tennyson Downs for Walk the Wight. He finds great joy in walking his Bengal cats and sharing life's adventures with his wife Vicky, who is an advanced nurse practitioner, both indulging in the captivating world of steampunk 🎩
