🤍 Love taking a peep in the guest book when we pop over to do jobs at the school…it’s great to hear from visitors about the time they have spent here with family and friends 🌊🥂

🤍 I particularly loved Monty’s message and illustration ✏️ and who knew we had hosted a Ryan Reynolds movie club! 🎥 …but then who in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 isn’t a HUGE fan of ?! 🙌🏼 Him and the lovely would be welcome at the Old School any time they fancy exploring Anglesey 😉

🤍🐣 Happy Easter gang! 🐣🤍 this is the first year since we bought the school that we haven’t spent the Easter break there…we had such fun doing egg hunts and sleeping in the onsite caravan. Can’t believe how much has changed since last year! It’s lovely to think we have guests there enjoying the finished school house this year and our hard work has all come together! Hope you’ve all have a lovely time celebrating with family and eating way too much chocolate 🍫🫶🏼 xox

We’ve tried to think of every detail at .old.school to make your stay a home from home but even better ✨…gorgeous kitchen with everything including the extras (Ysgol Fawr - The Big School, has 2 dishwashers, large American fridge with an extra 50/50 drinks fridge 🥂 and freezer 🧊, LOADS of glasses 🍻, cutlery 🥄 and crockery 🍽️etc) TV room big, comfy sofas 🛋️, OLED smart TV 📺 (no idea what this means but the hubby says it’s good?!, lots of games and toys to keep the little ones entertained, super snuggly mattresses 🛏️, power showers 🚿, underfloor heating, outdoor seating area…the list goes on…get in touch if you have any questions at all! 🤍🌊

Spent a lovely, long awaited weekend at the school with my girls as guests…so nice to be here relaxing and not doing jobs! It’s gorgeous in the winter months, the views are just as spectacular and lovely to spend time on the coastal path when it’s so quiet…🤍🌊

At the very early stages of the project I took a course called ‘Getting Started’ ran by Amy & Jane . They are both architects and it was so inspiring to hear them talk about different aspects of building / renovating etc, the course was packed with information, helpful spreadsheets etc and it gave me much more confidence when working with our builders. Last month they asked me to have a chat with them for their podcast ‘Stories from Site’ - this took me completely out of my comfort zone but was great to sit back and discuss how far we have come with .old.school . The podcast is now live…
Thanks so much for having me , you were as lovely as ever and it’s really helped having your advice along the way!

What a different getting the tarmac done on the drive and parking area has made…bags of space to bring your mates! We couldn’t be happier with this final piece of the puzzle!!!
