Annie and Rose were waiting for me to let them in the back field this morning. I love the way they go straight to the veggie garden gate in expectation of being fed. Notice we were being watched just in case there was some food to be had.

The girls are back laying again! Beautiful fresh free range eggs included in every hamper when you book either our cottage or shepherd’s hut. Imagine fresh eggs for breakfast every day! Eggs also for sale, priced £1.50 per box and you can meet the girls themselves along with our pet ducks, geese, sheep, ponies and donkeys!

Do you take last minute bookings? Can you take us today? Yes, just give me time to prepare.
Jasmin and Mark arrived at 6pm last night and were delighted with Tan Bryn our holiday rental cottage. The animals just had to wait patiently until I was done, except for Annie the donkey who made it loud and clear she wanted her tea!
If you book either our cottage or shepherd’s hut we are always happy to introduce the animals to you and Annie and Rose make perfect donkey therapy!
We are only five minutes away from the beautiful Benllech beach and in an ideal location to explore the rest of Anglesey.

It’s chilly today so Pumpkin needs her fleece and a snuggle with Pru. Pru is the grandma of our family or should that be great grandma! She is almost 18 years old, sleeps a lot, is definitely senile but still loves her food and a little wander up the road! We love you Pru!

Someone asked me the other day about keeping Runner ducks. ‘They don’t need a pond do they’ they said. Oh but they do, firstly to wash themselves properly, secondly, it’s a safe place to go if the fox visits, and thirdly, they love it!
