Hello,

ROFLOW have entered a team of eight runners in to this year’s Great North Run 2024.
As you may know, ROFLOW are often raising money for various charities through charity evenings, bike rides, horse racing meetings, etc.
We wanted to enter a Great North Run team last year but it never happened, but this year it’s happening.

We are running the Great North Run 2024 to support the Army Benevolent Fund, the national charity of the British Army. The charity supports soldiers, veterans and their immediate families in times of genuine need.

We were delighted to drop in at The Cedarwood Community Centre in North Shields for a presentation in aid of NE Youth.

It’s a very proud moment to give prominence to a terrific charity and a summary of our Christmas Charity Fundraiser.
Our evening at the Holmeside Hall Dunston was an instant sell out and highlights the generosity of all who came along to support.
In brief, the ROFLOW sponsored event from ticket sales, auction and raffle was rounded up to £10K. An additional event contribution from Santander resulted in a tremendous total of £12,500.00 for the charity.
A huge thankyou to the folk of Dunston, friends, family and business colleagues who made the event so successful.
Finally we have to give a special and enormous thankyou to Lorraine Crosby. Lorraine has done so much over the years for our various charitable endeavors.
