Fantastic Sunday lunch at our local The Manor inn Fridaythorpe today. A lovely warm welcome from the landlord and landlady, dogs welcome in the bar area.
A lovely breezy walk in the stunning Brubber Dale then a chill out in this comfortable welcoming pub and some delicious home cooked food. Left with a huge bone courtesy of the chef for the dogs too. 😊😊

Direct access on to the Yorkshire Wolds Way with some of the most stunning scenery you could wish to see, enjoy an amble across the Dales to a nearby village pub with great Sunday lunches then amble back again to enjoy chilling out in the enclosed South facing rear garden.

4 night break for up to 4 adults and one dog
31 August - 04 September.......... £400 includes bedding, towels, toiletries and welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits.

For all our lovely guests just to let you know the fantastic pub in the nearby village of Thixendale is open again and serves food and drink. They accept dogs but only in the beer garden not inside. If you fancy a good leg stretch head down the road past the factory and Thixendale village is on the right at the bottom of the steep hill, the pub is tucked away on the right hand side in the village. Its approx 3 miles each way. Check out their opening times as they dont open certain days. The Cross keys Thixendale.
I also heard a little whisper today that our village pub is soon to reopen so fingers crossed.
