A member of our team was super lucky to attend Santa Breaks 4 night stay with Inghams.
From arriving in Lapland the trip was unbelievably well organised to finish. Guided reps to take you everywhere on shared transfers.
Day 1: we arrived to our Yllas Log Cabin and instantly you have that Christmas feel. The log fire burning and the snow outside! We managed to un pack and go for a walk and took it upon ourselves to take in the amazing sights and also the snowy hills where we went sledging!
Day 2 : It was up and out to visit Santa! We tucked into the amazing breakfast at the Yllas Hotel and off away we went into the wilderness to visit Santa at his Elf Hideaway & Home! We was greeted with Inghams reps and elves where we could bake gingerbread with Mrs Clause, go snow plowing on the frozen lake & cook sausages round the fire.
It was time to go visit Santa ๐
, we was picked up on a snow mobile by and elf and taken to visit the big man. It was a truly magical experience, one we would recommend for anyone who has children especially. Words cannot really describe, our advice! Go do it! (I also wouldnโt want to ruin it)
We had dinner at a local bar in Yllas and headed off to do some snow mobiling across the frozen lake & did some night fishing (which was cold) and finished off with tea round the fire !
Day 3 : we was up and out to visit the hotels round Lapland that we can offer to customers. We visited the Akas Hotel & Akas Log Cabins, which is a little village in Yllas. A festive hotel and a more private location in the Log Cabins! The afternoon was spent having a walk round visiting the different shops and stores they have there!
Day 4 : again we was transferred to the closest ski resort where we had private lessons with Ski Instructors! It was a 2 hour lesson where we had the chance to take on the bigger slopes after! Great equipment allowed
