A little delay in posting the final part of our Asian adventure, the great British summer has got in the way this past week it’s been way too warm 🤪😎 Anyway, Singapore, 5 nights of adventure, activities and a spot of relaxing in between! We stayed in the Village Hotel Sentosa, had an interconnecting family room without balcony (no balconies in Singapore?!) The rooms were tiny, imagine stepping over cases and no wardrobes, but in all fairness the rooms were modern and clean, just on the small side! The large swimming pool area was ideal, a few more sun loungers would have been a plus but we found a spot whenever we wanted. This hotel is modelled as a ‘family property’, but no central Bar/lounge area, we found this a little strange. All these points aside, the hotel was central on Sentosa Island and clean and modern. We met up with some friends so the kids were super happy, a full-on day on the rides and attractions at Universal Studios on Sentosa Island, another day on the zip wire, giant swing, luge/tobogan rides and go karting which was fun! We ventured into the city a couple of times ate at Clarke and Boat Quay for dinner and did a lovely bumboat river cruise at night which was lovely to view the city at night. Another evening was spent at the Gardens by the Bay watching the light show, worth a visit! A visit to the eye catching waterfall in the Jewel at Singapore Changi airport is worth a visit, don’t miss it on your transit through or stopovers! Singapore is a great stopover city, expect to pay expensive London prices, but what a great few active days to end our amazing holiday this summer. So we’ve been home a week, it all feels like a distant memory…..onto planning our next trip 🤣If you fancy spending your 2025 somewhere a bit different, get in contact with me to discuss🌏
