Thank you and at Browsham for a lovely day learning about green hay and for the donation to our site.
We were able to take green hay from a species rich site at Brownsham and then transfered to a small prepared part of of wet meadow at Watermead. This will be later seeded with mix chosen by bumblebee trust to create a new wildflower meadow.
We are buzzing 🐝 with excitement 🙂

If you coming to visit us with or without children, it's definitely worth packing some boots and waterproofs as there is plenty of muddy walks and woodland paths to explore.

With acres of land around the cottage you are spoiled for choice. Thank you to our wonderful friend Davies for making our lovely sign. This little bridge joines the bottom meadows with our young woods. It may be uphill at some points but the views and abundance of wildlife are worth the effort.

It's a beach day 😎
Westward Ho! beach with miles of sand during low tide makes a perfect place for a lazy day ⛱ Great place for surfing, with lifeguards during the sumner and designated dog area it's a popular family spot 🏊‍♀️

Hartland Quay with its breathtaking scenery is an amazing place to visit! It's a 10min drive from The Cowshed or an hours walk - and we promise you won't be disappointed. You can grab a drink, have a bite to eat or be brave and have a dip 🏊‍♀️ One of our favourite places to watch the sunset 🌞
