Beautiful wildflower meadow turf installed on a steep bank at our large project in Noke. This is the finishing touch and a great solution for an awkward space. It’s held in place with wooden pegs which will gradually break down into the soil. We scattered spring bulbs before laying the turf. Cannot wait to see it next year.

Just finished reading this incredible book. Her prose flows like the sea she swims. It is an extraordinary book as it says on the cover. If you need strength in solitude this will give you all you need and faith in the power of nature. Thank you I read this during a week alone by the Pembrokeshire coast. I laughed and cried but mainly felt soothed by the beautiful words.

Wonderful mix of fruits just along one path. Elderberry, BlackBerry, Sloes and the real bonus a variety of Damsons !! Fill your boots !!!
But be careful not to pick any berries from the Dogwoods which are also laden.

Every time I visit this garden it amazes me that last year it was a scuzzy old field full of brambles and a derelict barn. Finally finished edging the pond today. Great to see the wild carrot seeds took and are providing a lovely mist beneath the Betula. Very happy.

So@much life in the meadow today. There were lots of bees and various flies but the tiny blue dragonflies were there in abundance. Not sure they show up in this clip. Can you spot any ??

This was taken at 9.30pm. Looking out of my kitchen window I was struck by how bright the Ox-Eye daisies look at night. It really just goes to prove how using light colour plants in shady areas really can work.

Another beautiful garden created and bursting into life. From an empty field with a derelict barn to a stunning garden with wildlife pond, formal garden, meadow, orchard, kitchen garden, hot tub and croquet lawn !!! What’s not to love ?? We continue to make regular visits and small adjustments to make it even better. @ Oxford, Oxfordshire
