Today marks the end of Neurodiversity Celebration Week, a week dedicated to raising awareness and celebrating the unique strengths and perspectives of neurodiverse individuals.

At , we're committed to fostering an inclusive working environment and so have been reflecting on its significance, both in and outside of the workplace.

We kicked off on Monday with a fascinating and insightful webinar, "Introduction to Neurodiversity," led by Helen Musgrove from Lexxic, while, throughout the week, we've offered learning resources on our TC Learning Hub, shared real-life experiences from colleagues, and myth-busted some of the most common fables relating to neurodiversity.

We believe that embracing and celebrating neurodiversity is essential to creating an inclusive, innovative, and supportive workplace. So, as we conclude, we’re encouraging everyone in true to continue engaging with these vital conversations, and to continue supporting and celebrating neurodiversity.

Travel Chapter’s Christmas party goes nationwide ❄️

Last Friday, the Travel Chapter's Christmas party was a resounding success, as three SnowBalls lit up the UK in a dazzling display of festive cheer.

From 📍 The Big Sheep in Devon to the 📍 Etihad Arena in Manchester and the 📍 Rooftop Gardens in Norfolk, our teams came together to celebrate with colleagues old and new, near and far.

The live stream set up across all three locations allowed us to raise a virtual glass and toast the successes of 2023 with the whole team. It was truly a fantastic evening that showcased the we are so proud of.

From our teams to yours, we wish you all a very merry festive season from everyone at Travel Chapter!

Last week was an exciting time for us at Travel Chapter as we held our annual conference "Travel Chapter Next".

The conference brought together over 800 employees from different parts of the country to celebrate the successes of the past year and discuss how we can work together in 2024 to help write the next chapter in travel for both our homeowners and our guests.

As well as celebrating our team's achievements throughout 2023, colleagues also attended a keynote speech from ex-professional cyclist, and motivational speaker, Tim Buckle - who discussed 'The Chimp Model' and how it can help people achieve psychological well-being.

Our day came to an end with a special 'Travel Chapter's Got Talent 2023' show - where team members got the chance to showcase their unique skills and talents.

We are so proud of all our colleagues for making this year a success for our homeowners and guests - and we look forward to creating more unforgettable holiday memories in 2024.

We’ve partnered with Cancer Research UK to raise as much money as we can in 12 months, and in August over 50 members of our staff took part in our country-wide steps challenge 🥾

‘Did you know that there are 384,339 new cases of cancer diagnosed in the UK every year’

Our incredible staff members all pledged to take that many steps throughout August and each individual walked an incredible 384,339 steps across the month! 🏆

Congratulations to our team who raised £357.80 for the RSPB during Sustainable Fashion Week 👚👖

They held two swap shops and repair stations at our Bideford and Reepham offices to raise awareness of the damaging effects of fast fashion 👜👒

The clothes they didn't sell are now going towards our 10K for CRUK fundraising goal!

Here at Travel Chapter, our staff receive a paid day each year to volunteer for an organisation or a cause that means a lot to them personally💚

This summer, our colleagues from the Business Operations Team based in Norfolk decided to complete a beach clean at their favourite nearby beach, Sheringham🌊

Thanks to the lovely weather, they were able to spend the morning picking up litter and keeping the beach clean for our holidaymakers, locals and marine life! They left with bags full of plastic and fishing waste🎣

We’ve had an incredible month celebrating Pride at Travel Chapter! 🌈

We are proud of our people and everyone who has shown support and shared their own lived experiences during our “break the bias” and guest speaker sessions. 💕

Special thanks to Caroline Paige for joining us as a truly inspiring guest speaker and for helping us to celebrate diversity among our team, customers, and communities where we operate. 🙏

While Pride Month is a great opportunity to celebrate our team, we recognise that it’s not just in the month of June that our LGBTQIA+ community needs our support.

That’s why we have launched an LGBTQIA+ Circle - a monthly employee resource group where our LGBTQIA+ team and allies can share experiences, receive support and continue to lift each other up within the workplace – all year round.

Lastly, we'd like to say a huge thank you to our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for arranging our Pride Month celebrations for continuing to drive positive change. 👏
