Next Saturday in Hartland will see the fabulous Hartland Carnival and procession of themed floats ... every year they are absolutley outstanding - something not to be missed !

This is a lovely place to visit ... and on National Cream Tea day ... why not!

It’s National Cream Tea Day tomorrow! Come and help us celebrate 🤩

We will be baking our gorgeous scones to be enjoyed with a choice of local jams, lemon curd and Cornish clotted cream. All served on beautiful vintage china and washed down with pots of steaming tea! We are also proud to cater for gluten, wheat, dairy free and vegan diets.

Even better, we will be donating 5% of all Cream Teas sold tomorrow to the brilliant Cancer Research UK

Just spent several sunny days in North Devon, visiting Hartland Abbey for their Blubell Sunday (lovely walk past bluebells and garlic to the sea, walked up to the beautifully tended walled gardens too. Afterwards we had yummy lunch in the court yard (delicious food and a very lovely and helpful waitress) and one of the best cappuccinos I've had in ages! You've probably guessed, we realk enjoed iur visit - Hartland Abbey open the Bluebell walk twice a year so we were lucky to be there that weekend.

Becky and Snowdrop have had a lovely winter with Harold at the farm! Lots of delicious hay and a lovely barn to keep dry in!

Harold (Phoenix Phlyer) is now terribly old but happy as a bee. He won 13 races in his time and has had a blissful retirement!
He and the donkeys are best friends! 🐴🐎🐴

We love visiting Rectory Farm tea rooms - highly recommend. Located in a beautiful area with breathtaking walks.
