Tyne Cot in the snow.
A day for the purists (or slightly mad)!
A rare event - Tyne Cot with only one visitor - yours truly!
Menin gate in the evening sunshine again - can’t believe it’s taken since last August to return!
After a wet few days on the Somme, my first tour of the year is now in a cold but clear Ypres.
With a few hours to burn after a tour of Somme/Ypres I thought it would be good to revisit the Waterloo battlefield - on a beautiful autumnal day!
Well what a way to finish a tour - the band of the Grenadier Guards - enjoy because it doesn’t often happen!!!
Last day of the tour and this is a view of a very cold Ginkel Heath - the furthest landing zone from Arnhem.
Please have a look at this video of a recent commemoration at the Menin Gate in Ypres. If you would like a tour in September please contact me via my website or message on Facebook.
I have availability for tours in the last two weekends in September but am fully booked up in October. Please message me or contact via website if you are interested.
