Today, we honor every woman’s strength, resilience, and contributions.

Malala Yousafzai reminds us: ‘We cannot all succeed when half of us are held back.’ Together, we’re breaking barriers and shaping a world where gender equality isn’t just a goal, but a reality.

Let’s continue to uplift and support one another, not just today, but every day.

Siobhan Harper-Nunes Birmingham Race Impact Group Merisha Speaks Cynthia Morrison Black Equity Organisation Tina Smith

The Million Women Rise (MWR) march is a women-only protest that takes place annually in London to end violence against women and girls.

The march takes place on a Saturday 8th March / International Women's Day.

The march is organised by grassroots activists and women-lead organisations.

It is led by Black/Global Majority Women.

The march was founded in 2007 by campaigner Sabrina Qureshi.

The march starts in Hyde Park and moves through Oxford Street, Regents Street, and Piccadilly Circus to Trafalgar Square where where survivors of violence speak their truth.

The march is a demand for an end to male violence against women and girls and stands for justice, safety, and liberation.

The Birmingham chapter will meet at 8.30am Saturday.

A few places still available on the coaches:

On Saturday 8th March 2025, women will be joining together to march across London in recognition of International Women’s Day. It all starts with you…

Want to change how people see you, treat you or talk to you?

It starts first with how you see yourself, treat yourself and talk to yourself.

You have to practice loving yourself, being kind to yourself and treating yourself with respect. That means practicing self care, speaking positively about and to yourself and treating your body like a temple inside and out.

Imagine how you would show up if you did that?

Imagine how others would see you and behave towards you as a result?

Decide today that things will be different and that you have the power to change them 💜

Their mission.

Ladies. Our founder Siobhan Harper-Nunes is running for West Midlands Mayor.

Siobhan says:

“My campaign was designed to promote issues around access to information & decisions, community involvement, left behind regions and of course climate change. If it achieves nothing else it will force other candidates to address these issues publicly.”

We are proud of Siobhan’s example to women and especially women of colour everywhere.

If you like what she’s doing, support her crowdfunder so she can have a bigger impact.
