Just a reminder for any 2025 brides, please do not put off booking your alterations in, no matter how long you think you have, it’s not always a long time for us seamstresses. Our timelines differ a lot from what the web suggests you need to do, please use our timeline instead.

At last January is almost out, everyone is excited for pay day, it's been a long time coming.
This is a shout out to anyone getting married this side of the summer and in need of dress alterations, please do not wait any longer to book in, its looking like we are having a bumper year for weddings, my diary is starting to look pretty full.
Its only a £25 deposit to pay when you book your appointment and if preferred nothing more to pay until the work is complete.

Happy Saturday everyone! and what a better day than yesterday, hope you all survived without too much damage.

This is a little reminder that we will shortly be coming up to crazy busy time and due to the fact I am taking time out at the moment to recover from my knee operation, it's looking even busier than ever.
I have limited space left for March, May and June weddings and proms. So if you are thinking of holding off to closer to the time, please don't! You can book in ahead of your first appointment.
There will be a upfront fee of £25 to pay at the time of booking,
please do not leave it until it's too late.

Good morning,
Just a little update on my recovery. I had my knee operation almost two weeks ago and doing very well. Thank you to everyone for the lovely messages, flowers and gifts wishing me a speedy recovery.

I am still available to speak to, I am taking calls and answering all message as soon as I can. Can I please ask that you do not text the landline number 01388 664300, it doesn't comply my telephone system. Wishing all my friends and customers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year x
Thank you to every one for supporting my business. I’m going to be out of action for a few weeks as I’m having my second knee replacement on 4th January. But I’ll be back fighting fit to do all your sewing soon. I’ll still be monitoring my emails and face book and answering all calls.

I just want to say a massive thank you so so much from the bottom of my heart for the amazing job you made on my dress. I know it was a bit of a nightmare being so big on me when I arrived for my first fitting with so much detail on it but you would never of known it had been altered because you made such a fantastic job. Hi Bernie, I just wanted to say thank you so, so much for the work you did on my wedding dress to make it fit me perfectly for my wedding day. I first came to you as a bridesmaid last year when my stepmum was having her wedding dress altered, and I was so impressed with your skill and professionalism. The bride and all the bridesmaids, including me, were so happy with their dresses. So when it came time for my own wedding dress alterations, there was no question in my mind that I wanted to come back to you for help.

When Vicki came to see me she had doubts about her dress, we had a good chat and worked out what it was she wasn't sure about, so with lots of nips and tucks, the was dress made at least 2 sizes smaller, lace hem shortened and extra lace added to the top edge all round the dress which absolutely finished it off - that put a massive smile on Vicki's face 😁 and to top it all she had an amazing day. Thank you Vicki for putting your trust in me. Congratulations to you both. xx
