This group of young heifers have enjoyed the sunnier days! They look the picture of health outside with the sun on their backs and all that lush grass to eat!

They will come and say hello if you walk down past their gate!!

It's National Walking Month, so we're celebrating it with the announcement of a brand new walking trail at NT Cragside. 🎉

The 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗼-𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹, is a 6 ½ mile walk which will take you through the grounds of William Armstrong’s scientific playground for generating hydro-electricity. On this walk, you’ll see how he powered hydraulics; taking in engineered lakes, the timber flume (the start of the hydro-electricity system), the Powerhouse and Pump House. 🥾
