Last night, the 14th Sportsman’s Dinner was held at The Eagle Lodge, which raised an amazing £9275 in total. Our own Rahul and Bubbles topped this up to £9900, and this will be donated equally to Alzheimer’s Scotland, Woodland View School and Lodging House Mission (now known as LHM).

The event was yet again hosted by legendary football journalist and radio/TV presenter Tam Cowan, and he was joined by talented Scottish former football, Frank McAvennie, and prominent football commentator, Chick Young.

We want to give a massive thank you to everyone who came and to all the local businesses who donated prizes. Well done to all those who contributed to this hugely successful event!
