It is with deep regret that I have to inform you that Mark WHEEL EASY Travel - Friendly Professional taxi service Wheelchair friendly sadly passed away on Tuesday due to catching COVID
I would like to thank everyone who booked Mark for airport transfers,taxi service and his wheelchair work.

Took one of my regular wheelchair customers out to the Kelvingrove museum today for a few hours. Can highly recommend the venue as great wheelchair access and with the good weather the surrounding parks are easily accessible.

Life is a rollercoaster is my wife Alison’s ring tone and whilst we all live our ups and downs, the last 6 months have been a rollercoaster. Diagnosed with lung cancer in February and told no surgery as it’s spread was a real low.
6 months on and having had support from family, friends, NHS and the Beatson, I’m rising to a new “normal”. Being in the population’s lucky 5% that can benefit from a new drug therapy has given me a chance to live that “normal“.
I’ve reduced my hours but happy to let customers old and new know that from Monday 1st August I am ready to take *advanced bookings* for all your taxi travel requirements specialising in wheelchair users and Airport transfers.

Highlight of the week has to be when I got the chance to take Frank (94 next month) out to Largs for the day. Great chat and company. Frank is a Royal Marine WWII veteran and attends the Coming Home centre twice a week.
Yvonne passed on more food donations for our veterans shielding, community sharing at times of need. 😀
The petition is growing too and we have 19,905 to date so hope Ministers take action.
Picked up a couple of jobs from Langbank station to Paisley. All local jobs welcome.

Another great week.
Food parcels delivered to our shielding veterans.
The petition for financial support to taxi owners who missed out on the small business grant has added another 10,000 signatures since last week and now have 17,405. Thanks to all and If you can support please use the link below.

Another great week. Firstly thanks to Yvonne at the Glenburn resource centre for sharing some food resources with the veterans charity.

So what's new this week. Usual deliveries to our Veterans keeping safe as the stay in the shielding group. Safer transport for customers in Bishopton. Some new veterans added to my drop offs this week and all very welcome to receive a food parcel. Thanks again to Yvonne at Glenburn resource centre for donating excess supplies to our veterans.
Was great to support getting a veteran out of the Beatson after several weeks treatment and down to Gourock for his ferry home.
