Blackpool’s very own Kitty Harris is digital dynamite and has become world famous on the social media platform TikTok for her hilarious comedy sketches and behind-the-scenes glimpses into her daily life. Her unique blend of humour and storytelling has even earned her a whopping 1.2million followers! The talented performer is also trained in musical theatre and has already graced the stage in top musicals from Greatest Days to Chicago and is currently starring in the smash-hit UK tour of Burlesque the Musical.

Cinderella flies into Blackpool Grand Theatre from Friday 6 December 2024 to Sunday 5 January 2025 starring TikTok sensation and stage star Kitty Harris as Cinderella alongside TV’s Hayley Tamaddon, Britain’s Got Talent finalist Steve Royle and dazzling dame duo Jamie Morris and Tarot Joseph returning as the gorgeous Ugly Sisters, Melody and Harmony Hard-Up. Two weeks of unlimited riding for £60 this half term at Pleasure Beach Resort

From 9am this morning (Saturday 21 September), FY and PR residents can get an October Half Term Pass for just £60 for the next 24 hours, giving them unlimited access to Pleasure Beach Resort for a bumper 14 days.

Parents, children, friends and thrillseekers can dare to ride ICON, reach epic heights on the Big One, and high five characters in the UK’s only Nickelodeon Land – as many times as they’d like for two weeks.

Amanda Thompson OBE, CEO of Pleasure Beach Resort said: “After a buzzing back to school and work period, we’ve created this offer to give our guests the break they deserve.

This is a great opportunity for friends and families to get together and experience our world-class rides!”

Included in their eTicket, guests can take advantage of Pleasure Beach’s Halloween line-up. The park will undergo a scary transformation by day, with Halloween-themed entertainment and activities for the whole family throughout the month of October.

Spooky Halloween guests will be roaming around the park, including Lougarock the werewolf. Guests can visit the Halloween Hub to enter fancy dress competitions, and enjoy Halloween-themed food and drink.

At the UK’s only Nickelodeon Land there will be Halloween fun and games, plus the chance to say ‘trick or treat’ to Nickelodeon characters including SpongeBob SquarePants and the PAW Patrol pups.

Guests can also decide to buy Journey to Hell tickets this half term; a terrifying, experience led event, featuring live actors through themed areas of Pleasure Beach Resort, immersive scare zones and unlimited riding after dark. New for 2024, guests can experience nine terrifying rides engulfed in darkness.

The offer is valid for residents of FY and PR postcodes. The October Half Term Pass grants unlimited ride access every day between 21st October and 3rd November 2024.

WORLD FIREWORKS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2024

We see the second of 3 fireworks events tonight when the world fireworks championships continues with Finland showing us their amazing display.

The fireworks display will be held on the beach opposite the tower.
The build up starts around 7.30pm with the display starting around 8.30pm.

Welcome to Blackpool calendars

We used to do our own calendars with £2 from each one going to our chosen charity the RNLI.

With prices of everything going up and hearing people don’t have as much spare cash these days would people pay £14 for a calendar?

For people who haven’t bought off us before, our calendars are made from thick paper/card and not like the thin paper versions you get for a couple of pound.

We would have to charge this amount just to cover costs and make £2 each one for the rnli.

Please let us know in the comments so we can see if people would buy at this price.
