Check out this beautiful itinerary exploring some hotspots in China!

3 NIGHTS BEIJING | 1 NIGHT SLEEPER TRAIN | 1 NIGHT XI'AN | 4 NIGHTS SHANGHAI

Day 1: Beijing
Visit the city's famous hutongs near Houhai Lake, Gulou, and explore the Wangfuijing neighbourhood.

Day 2: Beijing
Visit the Temple of Heaven, White Cloud Temple, Niujie Mosque and Confucius Temple.

Day 3: Beijing
Visit one of the world's most famous attractions, the Great Wall of China, followed by the Summer Palace.

Day 4: Beijing-Xi'An
Explore the Forbidden City.
Overnight train in sleeper cabin to Xi'an.
Day 5: Xi'an
As no classic China trip is complete without seeing them, start by visiting the Xi’an Terracotta Warriors. Embark on a bike tour for about one hour to discover the impressive Xi’an ramparts, followed by an Xi’an Evening Food Tour.

Day 6: Xi'an-Shanghai
Along the way, visit the tomb of Emperor Jing nearby to the airport.
Internal flight to Shanghai.
Discover Shanghai during a two-hour tour; from the Old French concession to the fashionable Bund.
Day 7: Shanghai
Today enjoy a vintage bike ride through Shanghai- a truly immersive way of exploring the city.

Day 8: Shanghai
Start off with the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Centre, followed by the Shanghai Museum and Museum of Contemporary Art for those interested in art.

Day 9: Shanghai
Begin the day heading towards the French Concession.
Walk the Old Town and bazaars.
Wrap up the day with a traditional Chinese massage.

Had an amazing day so far at World Travel Market in London as a scholarship Travel Counsellor, supporting the Institute of Travel and Tourism.

I was on the panel for 15 Years of Bridging the Gap Between Education and Industry, discussing on topics like inspiring the next generation and broadening horizons. Already from it, I’ve made some great connections, specifically with some universities to help students with career choices and my own personal journey in the travel sector.

Hi all!

This past week, I've been doing intense research on Thailand as a holiday destination and all the different aspects that make it unique. I've been working with three separate clients all of which are interested in visiting Thailand next year or 2026, so it's safe to say I'll be well-versed on the destination once they're all booked up!

I love doing this research and branching out to learn about so many different places that the world has to offer. Travel is absolutely one of my biggest motivators in life!

Did you know that in 2026, Route 66 will be celebrating its 100 year anniversary?
