Hello it's Becky from Travel Village, and this week we have been exploring the MSC World Europa, a perfect family cruise 🛳️

Wow! What a fabulous cruise! Families will never run out of activities on MSC World Europa. While the ship offers standard cruise amenities like pools, hot tubs, and a casino, it also boasts unique features such as an arcade, a water park, bumper cars, and even a 5D cinema. I highly recommend purchasing a Fun Pass in advance, which saves around 20%.

Our itinerary included a day trip to Portofino, but due to rough seas, we weren’t able to go. However, we did get the chance to explore Naples and Sorrento, and these destinations surpassed all expectations. We spent a delightful day in the charming coastal town of Sorrento. With its stunning cliffs overlooking the Bay of Naples and vibrant streets filled with artisan shops and cafes, Sorrento was the perfect escape. We savoured the region’s famed limoncello and indulged in a delightful Italian meal with fresh seafood and pasta.

One of the ship’s best features is the two deck Botanic Garden Pool. Complete with a retractable roof, whirlpool, tropical bar, and a comfortable lounging area, this space is an ideal place to unwind and take in the sea views.

Another thrilling addition is the Venom Slide, a grand spiralling adventure that promises excitement for all ages.

Ahoy! I’m Becky from the Travel Village, and I recently went onboard the MSC World Europa, sailing the Mediterranean with my family. Join us as we discover why this ship is a fabulous holiday getaway! 🚢

The MSC World Europa is a cruise ship designed with families in mind, offering lots of activities and amenities for all ages to enjoy. We voyaged during the summer holidays and were surprised to notice that the ship didn’t feel busy. The sheer size of the MSC World Europa is breathtaking but the expertly crafted layout ensures it feels spacious, smooth and free from congestion.

The moment we stepped on board, the “wow” factor was undeniable. The promenade is filled with boutique stores, restaurants and bars. We knew that it was going to be a fun-filled break.

MSC World Europa has an impressive array of dining options, we enjoyed delicious meals at Butcher’s Cut and Chef’s Garden Kitchen. As well as brunch at Hexagon, one of the main dining rooms, which offered an expansive selection of dishes.

The two buffets open and close in tandem, a smart design that prevents queues. Each buffet has themed serving stations with global selections, there was truly something for every craving. Not once did we experience a meal that didn’t live up to expectations!

The entertainment on MSC World Europa is world class. We were particularly impressed by the “Amelia” production, a show that set the bar high for onboard performances. Other standouts included a Coldplay tribute, a lively silent disco, a White Night deck party, and the vibrant Symphonic Ibiza. Each show and event brought something unique, and our evenings were as eventful as our days.
