There is no worse influence than the thoughts in our own mind. Holding on to the past and focusing on regret only keeps us stuck in those moments, often making us feel down and worthless. Remember , your level of awareness back then is very different than it is now.

This is so true, often clients will want a quick fix, but unfortunately and sometimes annoyingly for the person there is no time frame for this. Looking at lifting the lid on Pandora's box that contains everything that eventually leads to a person's trauma, needs to be done slowly and at the right time.

The 'shoulds' are reinforcements of a script and belief system of not being worthy or good enough. Turn the volume down on these thoughts, reframe to 'I wish I could have...'. You are enough, it is not your fault.

It’s important that what thoughts you are feeding into your mind because your thoughts create your belief and experiences. You have positive thoughts and you have negative ones too. Nurture your mind with positive thoughts: kindness, empathy, compassion, peace, love, joy, humility, generosity, etc. The more you feed your mind with positive thoughts, the more you can attract great things into your life. ~Roy T.
