Hill View is a well presented 2 bedroom holiday cottage situated on a smallholding, 3 miles from Blandford a stunning Georgian town. The local area has many attractions to offer, such as Monkey World, The Tank museum, the teddy bear museum and is ideally positioned for the larger towns for shopping and site seeing. Their are also plenty of walks, cycling or fishing facilities available, or you could just stay at the farm and watch the ducks !

What a great article about beautiful Dorset, I feel very blessed. They made a mistake missing Blandford off, but with so many fabulous places in Dorset, I will let it go 😉😂🤣

This is a lovely place to visit, you can walk or take the ferry (fees apply) the walk isn’t suitable for anyone with waking difficulties. Great view from the top. You can check out my post from earlier in the year, to see more pictures.

Hurst Castle may have once guarded the Needle Passage leading to the Solent, but did you know it was also occasionally used as a prison?

Charles I was held captive here in 1648 ⛓️👑🏰
