My name is Josie Ellis and I specialise in teaching flute to all ages, from beginners to Grade Eight DipABRSM Diploma in Flute Performance.

My Qualifications:

First Class BMus Degree from City University London. Guildhall School of Music and Drama based flute tuition from 2012-2015. Distinction in ABRSM Grade 8 Flute. My ethos in teaching focuses on ‘play what you love’ and lessons can be adapted to suit genres or repertoire of your choice, or to aim for a particular exam – we will set your goals and choose your lesson content togeth

er to help you learn in the best way for you. When teaching children I can work with parents to tailor a plan for development and goals for exams if this is desired. I also have proven experience in teaching adults, and have helped many players to get back into the instrument after years away from music.
