Busy busy for snow sports 😎🏂⛷️🎿

Morning all. December 28th 8.30 am.
Currently 8.0c at base station with light to moderate westerly winds. Isolated rain showers are expecting to fade mid morning with the temperature dropping throughout the day.
We are at capacity for snowsports passes today and very nearly at capacity for our Tubing slides.
Our lower beginners zone is still in good condition thanks to our snow factory. Forecasts are suggesting a return to wintery weather towards New Year.

Woodland Wheels is all lit up and ready to shine. ✨

It was a priority for us that this is a free to use facility, but donations are greatly appreciated to cover our operating costs - as it’s completely funded by us.

‼️ The lights will be available between 3.30pm - 8pm and will only work when it’s dark.

I was up there today and it was incredible to see how well kept it is and the two families enjoying laps in the winter sun. Not a drop of litter and someone had freshly swept up the pine needles.

It’s been a pleasure seeing how it has evolved into a meeting place for kids and families to enjoy throughout the year.

It would be incredible if these facilities were properly support and recognised for the massive benefits that they bring to our communities.
