The Storms of last December took their toll on the river so some remedial work has had to be undertaken. Fortunately the bridges remained in tact, but it was a close call. The pictures show the difference in levels and how close we came to losing the bridges.

We just said goodbye to our last guests for a while as we are now in Tier 3. Happy to say Donna and her lovely family from Falmouth made the most of it. Dip in the waterfall and snowman creating on the moors. We did oblige with a little snow.

We received a phone call from the Environment Agency today apparently some person has claimed we are still accepting guests. This is nonsense we have cancelled all bookings from March 17th to end of April. And will continue to follow the Government guidlelines when they are issued today. Air B and B are acting responsibly and blocking bookings in line with Government advice.
