How fantastic. The Old Inn and Restaurant in St Breward won the Gold Award at the South West Tourism Awards in Truro this evening. Congratulations to the whole team. So lucky to have this wonderful pub in walking distance.

Ooh, look what the pub has installed. A dog treat and water station. Looking after our furry friends. Thank you The Old Inn & Restaurant. Just a 5/10 minute march / stroll from the cottages. Down hill on the way home!

Out and about over last couple of weeks. Foxgloves are vibrant, cows are out, the foal is finding its feet. Saw Sting and Blondie perform at Plymouth Hoe (both amazing), Royal Cornwall Show at Wadebridge was a great day out and have had some lovely beach walls with Molly.

Molly and I went to Lanhydrock today, the National Trust property just outside Bodmin and less than half an hour away. Went prepared for wind and rain, but it turned out to be a very pleasant dry afternoon and sheltered down by the River Fowey. Wild Garlic is out and the bluebells will soon be on their way.
