Today marks my 9th business anniversary 🎈

When I first became a VA I had the thoughts of what if it doesnt work, what if I can’t find clients, what if I fail … these are thoughts I am sure we all get when starting out alone, but I can honestly say it’s been the best journey I’ve had.

I love what I do, I have fabulous clients and I get to have a good work like balance.

Work-life balance. How do you deal with it?

It's not about having an equal split of time between the demands of work and personal life, but rather finding a way to manage your time and energy effectively so you can feel fulfilled in both areas.

I relate this to clients and friends but don't always do it often enough myself.

This week I have done just that. At the beginning of the week I travelled to Brighton, Havant and Gatwick for client meetings, and yesterday I went to London to see a show with a friend. Today started with a lovely run along the beach (photo below) and I will end the day with clear inboxes knowing I have a long weekend ahead.

Finding work-life balance is an ongoing process. What works for one person might not work for another. The important thing is to experiment and find what helps you feel happy, healthy, and fulfilled in both your work and personal life.
