A couple of photos from my final tour of the year at Heckington. Here we are at the windmill, built in 1830 and restored in 1891 after the sails and cap were blown off in a storm. Originally, it had five sails but upon restoration it was given its unique eight sails. Thanks to all my customers today and throughout the year. Details of my 2023 tours will be available soon.

Thanks to all my customers who joined me for the 'Meeting Mr. Wesley' Experience around Boston yesterday. It was a good time to visit the Stump which was hosting a festival of Creation. After all that history, we needed a cup of tea and some homemade cake.

In 1780 the evangelist John Wesley travelled from Boston to Wainfleet, presumably on his horse, and preached in the marketplace standing on the medieval Buttercross. He was not a tall man, although they say his voice was as clear as a bell, and so often stood on a table or tomb. The congregation at Wainfleet were well behaved, and I am delighted to say the same about the group of walkers, and the two dogs, who joined me there on Saturday when this photo was taken.

Some photos from today's walk in the sun at Wainfleet. There was some lovely scenery on the journey and friendly locals.
