During the Royal British Legion Poppy Launch on 28th October 2023 thousands of poppies were dropped from Lancaster NX611 on the 2pm taxi run. It was a very spectacular sight!

Merlin engines first run ever!
A sleeping legend awakes after over 70 years....
This week we fired up our Merlin 25 engine for the first time ever!
We purchased the Merlin 25 from a private collection in Switzerland in Feb 2018. The engine was produced and delivered by Rolls Royce in 1950 for use on a Mosquito but it was never fitted.
When Mosquito HJ711 required an engine change this engine was the obvious choice as a replacement.
Please see the video below. This is the first time this engine has EVER been fitted and started!! Hats off to the engineers at Rolls Royce, this is testament to the quality of the engine and the production.
