🌅 Sunrise at The Castle 🌅 No filter needed!

The most magical Autumn sunrise this morning!
Its getting to that time of year where the mornings are darker and there is less day light.The Castle is getting ready for winter hibernation.

Heading to to get set up when it's dark is trickier but when you are rewarded with a sunrise like this - it's well worth it! 🥰

It fills us with so much pride and joy to read messages like this in our guest book.
To know that we've created a space for families that will be part of their stories, their forever memories and be a tradition within their little families feels like an absoloute privilege!

Who fancies a BBQ at the Castle?

We've been getting the castle set up for our first guests next weekend and what a weekend for it! We had to test run the fire pit and hammocks and I can say they are all working BEAUTIFULLY!

1 year on.... and what a difference a year makes!
It is so lovely seeing how established our little pond area has become over the last year - if you'd told me a year ago this is what it would look like, I never would have believed it!

The pond is a magical little area which we adore. It has created habitats for so many creatures; whether it be in the undewater world with beetles, snails and water skaters a plenty, or the flower garden which on sunny days is a hive of activity with butterflies, bees, wasps and dragonflies!

This also shows a beautiful view of our new secret garden coming to this year's stays!
