The Stables Bowness On Windermere is a 19th Century stable block now converted into quirky apartments All are perfect for a romantic break in the Lake District.

Located in Bowness on Windermere, in the heart of the Lake District, you will find The Stables. With free private parking, free WiFi and lots of quirky features in the 3 cosy self catering apartments, we aim to make you feel very welcome. Upstairs, there is The Round Window and The Stable Loft and downstairs is The Stable Nest. It is a short stroll to Lake Windermere and there are plenty of walkin

g, cycling and climbing routes right on your door step. Bowness is full of things to do with Beatrix Potter world, an old fashioned cinema, theatre and oodles of pubs, bars and restaurants all in easy walking distance. There is a train station a mile up the hill and a bus stop a minute away so we believe it is the perfect location to explore the wonderful and beautiful English Lake District.

For Sale! 🐑

We have loved running our small holiday let business for the last 16 successful years but Marc and I have now decided to put The Stable Loft and The Stable Nest on the market to sell.

We are excited about new venture planned but it has also been a very difficult decision.

Do you know anyone interested in taking over a successful holiday let business? It can be run remotely and benefits from many repeat bookings from couples who love the location in Bowness on Windermere, in the heart of the Lakes.

We are still taking bookings until at least the end of September and existing bookings are running as usual. In fact we are having a very busy year, despite the crazy English weather 🙄

The Round Window is not on the market so if you have a booking in the diary to visit us in the future, don't worry.
