Bowness-on-Windermere is a sprawling tourist town on the shore of Windermere, about halfway along the 10.5 mile length of the lake between Waterhead at the North end, and Lakeside at the South end. It developed after the opening of the railway line from Oxenholme and Kendal to Windermere in 1847. Bowness was the nearest accessible point on the lake.

Now the Lake District’s most popular visitor destination, Bowness-on-Windermere is busy for much of the year. People come to enjoy the lake for sailing and water-sports, or just to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the area and the town’s delightful setting

THE WINE LOFT'

A newly renovated apartment in Bowness-on-Windermere. Walking distance (2 mins) to Lake Windermere, boats, shops, restaurants, bars and tourist attractions.

The apartment is on the second and third floor with views of the lakes and mountains from the master bedroom and living room. The apartment has its own private entrance but below is a boutique wine shop where guests of the apartment can enjoy discount and a complimentary gift on arrival. 4 star accommodation.

The space

We have taken time to try to ensure that every detail is catered for so that you enjoy your stay as much as possible.
You have full use of the whole apartment and there is nobody above or below you.

The apartment is central in the town so in the evening you will enjoy the many bars, restaurants and vibes of Bowness. During the day there are lots of beautiful walks from the property and there are guide books available for you.

In the drawers in the living room you will find a selection of games and in the kitchen a decanter for you to decant your wine! The place is set up for you to relax and enjoy!

There will be a small arrival pack in the kitchen with a few essentials (soap, dishwasher tablet, cloths etc. etc.) and a complimentary voucher to use in the Wine Loft below - for a bottle of your choosing!
