How stunning does this look? I have a customer going next month.
Spending one night in Lima before joining a guided tour, visiting Cuzco, Ollantaytambo, before hiking up the Inca trail and camping on the way up to Machu Picchu, then heading back down and stopping in Cuzco for a well deserved r&r.

A little hello from me!
Well into week 3 of the school holidays, enjoyed spending time with my boys.

Yesterday we spent the day at Filey beach yesterday, digging trenches (their words not mine 😂) attempting paddle boards and getting splashed with waves in the dinghy.

The weekend was very much football focused with a Fun day at local football ground, followed by watching a match, then watching my youngest play football himself.

Catching up on work stuff today. I am still working around our adventures so if you need anything feel free to pop me a message.

When your friend rings you asking if you can help plan a surprise holiday for her and her daughter, going in two weeks and you make little pretend boarding passes to announce the surprise! 🥰

I was asked to pick out three resorts to let her daughter choose from so I made a mini brochure for her.

Her face was an absolute picture, she couldn't speak. Made my day to do this for them and I hope they have the most amazing time in Rhodes!

Happy Monday, hope you all had a great weekend and got the chance to enjoy the weather 🌞
My partner and I decided to get away for a few days so we booked a mini break to Northumberland, I have been dying to visit Alnwick for as long as I can remember 🧙‍♀️⚡🧹 (if you know, you know)
We head off early and headed to Bamburgh castle - that was on my partners wish list. What an incredible castle on a cliff side next to a stunning sandy beach.

We then headed off for our first night in our hotel - Tempus at Charlton Hall. Each room has it's own unique, colourful, stylish and modern décor. We stayed in Tempus king room. Huge room, comfiest bed I have ever slept on. Stunning wet room.
We absolutely loved the décor and the mood settings on the lights. We ate dinner on site one night and breakfast the following morning, the restaurant had a cottage yet modern feel to it, and was so light and airy. Food was delicious and staff were so friendly. We spotted a nervous groom-to-be with his friends and family during breakfast - the hotel hosts weddings in the Charlton Hall part of the venue.

Following breakfast we headed to my requested part of the trip Alnwick castle, where parts of Harry Potter were filmed (as well as Downton Abbey, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Transformers: The Last Knight, and so much more). We loved walking round the Castle grounds and the multiple towers. And of course I had to partake in a Flying lesson, which I am proud to say I passed 😂, I even managed to levitate my broomstick (photo enclosed). Was an incredible day out!

On our way home from our fun-filled trip we decided to venture down the East Coast and stop off at Saltburn-by-the-Sea. We had a laze on the beach, of course ate fish and chips and ice cream. We earnt ourselves a funny look for ordering Haddock instead of Cod 😅 We were hoping to go on the Cliff Tramway but unfortunately we found it to be closed for renovations due to a fire which was a shame so we climbed the 173 steps up and down the cliff instead.

I am now back at my garden desk enjoying the sun and catching up on quotes while I was away.

Happy Monday!
Hope you all had a great weekend, apart from last night, but we won't talk about that.

It has been a crazy couple of weeks here, finally got chance to sit down and make posts for you all - huge apologies for the silence.
At home I have my baby leaving Primary school, so experiencing all those 'lasts'. Getting both my babies (don't let my eldest see me call him that 😂😂) ready for their residentials this week.

My partner and I spent a couple of days away this week for a little R&R at the Stanley House Hotel & Spa
We stayed in the Manor, it was absolutely stunning. We had a traditional, freestanding roll top bath which just added that little bit of extra to our stay and I loved the furnishings, the wardrobe made me want to start singing Beauty and the Beast songs.
We spent a relaxing couple of hours in the on-site spa, with aroma steam rooms, Finnish sauna and other rooms, with a hydrothermal pool, overlooking the pond and rural landscape.

Great news for anyone flying from Leeds Bradford from today (9th June 2024)

This new upgrade joins airports that have already changed hand luggage liquid rules, which are Teeside, Newcastle, Birmingham and London City airport.

Watch this space for other airports to receive the upgrade and follow suit

The Department for Transport has today issued new security guidance on liquids, aerosols and gels (LAGS) in hand luggage.

From Sunday 9th June from 0001hrs onwards, liquid containers up to 100ml may be carried through security in your hand baggage. When travelling out of Leeds Bradford Airport liquids do not need to be placed in a plastic bag and do not need to be taken out of your bags prior to screening. There is no specified limit to the number of 100ml liquid containers that may be carried.
