Tomorrow on Saturday 18th January from 12pm, People First Keighley & Craven will be attending the Bradford 2025 launch celebration at Airedale Shopping Centre! There will be lots of fun activities on all day, and our Team Leader Janet will be on a stall with lots of different sensory items from our positivity pop-ups!

Members of PFKC as well as people from our learning disabled community are invited to come down and join us for a fun day out! We hope to see you there to celebrate the Bradford area!

Our gentle exercise class for people with dementia and their carers is continuing into 2025, with the first meeting of the year this Friday. Regular exercise is good for us all and improves brain function so come and join us at Keighley Parish Church Hall (in the central churchyard between Morrisons and the markets) 1.30 pm to 2.45 pm for an enjoyable new-year wellbeing boost 😀

Finally getting 2025 started after the big freeze! We've enjoyed catching up with our Idle and Low Moor friends this week are looking forward our first Gentle Exercise class of the new year with Helen from Discover Tai Chi at Keighley Parish Church Hall tomorrow. Next week we are continuing to get back into the swing of things with our Shipley meeting at St Peter's on Moorhead Lane on Wednesday 22nd Jan, and our normal Keighley meeting, again at the Keighley Parish Church Hall, on 24th Jan. Well done to the team Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway and the Yorkshire Dales Railway Museum Trust for the work that is planned to make its services more accessible for disabled people. Through their hard work they have managed to secure a grant from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. The volunteers have always gone out of their way to ensure our guests can access their facilities but this will make such a difference. Another huge step to ensure that the Yorkshire Dales are accessible to everyone
