Good evening everyone

Just wanted to post an apology this evening

Our standards have dropped the past few days with more bookings than we would have liked going late

Unfortunately this is due to a big chunk of our drivers practising the Holy month of ramadan. A lot of drivers are feeling the effects and wanting to open their fasts with their loved ones ( which is understandable ) but leaving us with a smaller proportion of our fleet than we would have liked

We have asked our drivers to do this in turn to have a minimal effect and our telephonists will be regularly checking our bookings to try our best to minimise disruption

Again we apologise and we intend for business to resume as normal going forward

We are due the dreaded 'S' word again

If it is as bad as expected there is a high chance we will not be operating as normal. We will try our best to honour bookings and keep everyone moving but if the roads come to a standstill we will as well

If it is as bad as expected please only travel if it's urgent

Good evening Baildon!

Just to make you aware we are taking bookings for Christmas day and New Years

We will have normal cars, estate cars and 6 and 8 passenger minibuses available including dog friendly drivers

Whether its just popping around Baildon or travelling further to visit friends or family we will get you there and get you back safely with our team at hand 😊

We also have multiple firms in Leeds with huge coverage including Arrow Leeds, Speedline, Morley Cars and Stanningley Cars

Hi there

Was wondering if anyone could help

Between 15.55 and 16.05 this afternoon one of our drivers was involved in a RTA with a motorcycle at the junction of Station Road and Baildon Road

The rider of the bike went through red lights (witnesses) and he stopped after crashing.

Rather than exchange details he decided to hurl a barrage of abuse at our driver and made numerous racist remarks before hitting the drivers car again and riding off

It's 2023 and racism still exists!

We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this or even better managed to catch a reg via dash cam or any other means

Unfortunately the driver didn't have a dash cam and Morrisons and the Post office both don't have CCTV

If anyone could help that would be amazing

This would be totally anonymous

We do have a part registration if that helps, however, possibly ending in KSJ or KSG

Unfortunately have to post this and don't want to

But there has been a group of youths around Baildon (we do recognise them) messing around with our drivers

Not paying. Giving them abuse. Messing around with them opening and closing doors and boot etc

If they are your kids please sort them out. We're not the police but we ( ourselves and drivers ) won't stand for any abuse from anyone and will defend ourselves if we have to. This is childish at the moment but can quite easily escalate which we don't want to

So if they are your kids please sort them out.

Just to make you aware our Muslim drivers will be celebrating Eid Wednesday and Thursday of this week and will be spending time at their local mosque and with their families

We may have delays due to a shortage of drivers so please bare this in mind when booking 😊

Good evening all

As previously mentioned many of our drivers have been practicing the month of Ramadan which is a holy month for most of our drivers

Over the next couple of days it will be the celebration of Eid where drivers will be visiting families and celebrating (similar to xmas)

Our drivers, as through previous years, are aware that we need to continue to provide a reliable service and will be working throughout the days around family commitments, however, please be aware there may be slight delays

The attached image of a vehicle is blocking access for Northern Power Grid to fix an issue which is causing electricity to 'trip' for our office and surrounding offices.

If someone knows the owner please can you ask them to move it?

Good evening everyone hope you are all well

Just to make you aware our drivers have begun the Islamic month of ramadan today which lasts for 30 days

In a nutshell they can not eat or drink or smoke from sunrise to sunset. Every day this changes by minutes so no exact time

Please bare with us in an evening as drivers will be pausing or taking a break to eat and drink

Morning everyone

Main roads are clearing up and we are back open. We have limited drivers as some are still unable to get on to the main roads. Some side roads are still very bad

We are now taking bookings but priority will be for the Baildon/Shipley area until we have more of our fleet available. Also if you are on a road that our drivers can not safely navigate we may ask you to come to the vehicle at a safe point

Please try avoiding travelling unless essential please.

The roads are starting to get worse. We have drivers on but bare in mind we have to try navigate the roads as best we can. If it gets worse which is predicted we won't be promising any booking times and will advise if you order a taxi you will get but can't promise on time scales

Just a quick heads up about the weather tomorrow: With the current weather forecasts we would strongly advise people not to travel unless necessary. Snow forecasts predict lots of snow from 11am onwards. So even if you do make it out in the morning, it is highly likely you won’t make it back.

Please bear in mind that if your cars can’t move, neither can ours.

Please keep an eye out for any elderly neighbours as they may not be up to date with what’s going on.

We will update you again in the morning around 7:30am with our thoughts ❄️

Morning guys

Unfortunately Pennithorne is closed therefore anyone travelling from Moor Valley, Ilkley, Eldwick, etc will be effected by the road closure as we will have to take the diversion route as well. You will see an increase in fares as our meter is based on mileage and the detour will no doubt increase the journey time and distance
