Introducing Sami, Wild Braemar's newest recruit. She's in training just now with a lot to learn, and some growing up to do but soon she will be helping me meet and greet guests and will eventually join us on our nature adventures. These last two weeks have been extremely fun and exhausting, juggling work and toilet training, but I'm looking forward to having this furry colleague by my side !

Being a volunteer in the Braemar Mountain Rescue Team has been a goal of mine for many years. Earlier this year I was grateful to be accepted as a trainee member and last week was coached up the corrie of Lochnagar by my awesome mentor Nick, Simon, Callum and Matt on my second full training day. Looking forward to learning from these incredibly experienced team members over the coming year and eventually become a full member volunteer to go out on rescues.

At the Start of March I was privileged to take out this group of amazing ladies for a river Dee dip as part of the so lovely to have a group social swim like this, with a mix of locals and familiar faces and new swim friends. Thank you for the amazing pictures!
