In a very quiet area on the edge of the Brechfa Forest and at 1000 feet, we boast unrivalled countryside views of Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion and are perfectly placed to explore the delights of these 3 counties.
There are plenty of DOG FRIENDLY BEACHES & ATTRACTIONS nearby plus a selection of lovely DOG FRIENDLY PUBS and restaurants. We also offer a mouth-watering menu of optional HOME MADE MEALS. We also have our amazing BBQ HUT available for guests to hire - complete with BBQ food. Perfect for a romantic evening for 2 or a party for larger groups. Just bring beer & wine!
NEW! “Scentral Bark”, a lovely shady spot with 6ft fencing, is our on-site totally enclosed Dog Park & Sensory Garden and is for the exclusive use of our guests’ dogs. If you have an “anti-social” or nervous dog this will provide an opportunity for some stimulating off-lead canine enrichment in a safe environment away from other humans and dogs so YOU don’t have to stress either! We are offering this to our guests on an “exclusive use” basis so your dogs needn’t mix with other guests dogs unless you invite them to do so. Includes:

tyre mountain
treat station
ball pit
hurdles
tyre tunnel
trampoline
human shelter to enjoy our incredible views
plants beneficial to dogs to promote calm, aid arthritis, help with grief etc
We will gradually be adding more fun low level obstacles, textured paths, safe plants etc around the edges leaving a large area for running around and ball throwing in the middle. We don’t be charge for use of of this but will instead encourage donations to our favoured local dog rescue charity West Wales Poundies which is where we found one of our furry family Alfie Beagle.

BAY TREE BARN (in the foreground above) is SINGLE STOREY and sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms, each with zip linked beds that can be made up as twins or king size doubles. The bathroom has a shower cubicle with electric shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail. The living space is open plan. The kitchen area has a cooker/hob, fridge, under-counter freezer, microwave and use of washing machine & dryer. The lounge area has a WOODBURNING STOVE, Free Sat TV & DVD player, music system and FREE WiFi as well as a huge leather sofa, an armchair and AMAZING COUNTRYSIDE VIEWS. The dining area has a table with seating for 4. Central heating and your 1st basket of logs is provided. The cottage has its own totally enclosed, secure garden (5ft fencing plus 5ft gate with no gaps) attached and parking immediately outside. Bay Tree Barn is semi detached and can be opened up with The Hay Barn as 1 large cottage with 4 bedrooms to sleep up to 10.
THE HAY BARN (shown furthest above) is 2 STOREY and sleeps 4(+2) in 2 bedrooms, each with zip linked beds that can be made up as twins or king size doubles. There is also an additional 2 x single beds in 1 of the bedrooms. NB: bedrooms have sloping ceilings. The downstairs bathroom has a shower over a bath, basin, WC and heated towel rail. The living space is open plan. The kitchen area has cooker/hob, fridge, under-counter freezer, microwave, dishwasher and use of washing machine & dryer. The living room has Free Sat TV & DVD player, music system and FREE WiFi plus 2 leather sofas, an armchair and AMAZING COUNTRYSIDE VIEWS. The dining area has a table and seating for up to 6. Central heating provided. The cottage has a private access path into its own totally enclosed, secure garden (5ft fencing plus 5ft gate with no gaps) attached and parking just outside. The Hay Barn is semi detached and can be opened up with Bay Tree Barn as 1 large cottage with 4 bedrooms to sleep up to 10.
THE OLD BIKE SHED sleeps 2 on a mezzanine sleep platform accessed via a ladder however there is also a small double sofa bed downstairs. Bijou but beautiful this cute, open plan studio style accommodation is perfect for singles, couples or 2 friends. On the mezzanine sleep platform the mattresses are zip linked so guests can choose how they would like their bed(s) made up (kingsize double or twins). The dinky wet room has shower, basin & WC. The kitchenette has cooker/hob, fridge with ice box & microwave. There is a table-top freezer and use of washing machine & dryer in a separate outbuilding. The living area has Free Sat TV & DVD player, music system and FREE WiFi plus a 2 seater sofa (sofa-bed) and armchair together with a pretty Victorian styled Provence stove. The dining area has a table and seating for 2. Patio doors lead out to a small, totally enclosed private patio/courtyard (with 3ft picket fence & 5ft perimeter fence beyond) to enjoy the AMAZING COUNTRYSIDE VIEWS. Central heating provided. Parking is immediately outside. The Old Bike Shed, a stones’ throw away from the other 2 cottages, is an annex of the owners' farmhouse but is totally separate with its own entrance.
Linen, towels, tea towels, dog towels, dog wash down area, heating & electricity (plus a basket of logs in Bay Tree Barn) are INCLUDED in the price. DOGS are VERY WELCOME and there is NO LIMIT ON NUMBERS providing there is enough room for them, guests are respectful of the accommodation and that it is left in the same clean, tidy manner in which it is presented to you.
