🌰 Vale Chestnut 🌰
The next walk around is of the lovely Chestnut 🌰. Chestnut is the largest of our smaller cottages but still has a similar layout to Hornbeam.
Chestnut sleeps 4 in one bedroom with 2 comfy double beds, the option of a travel cot is there as well for an infant. There is plenty of space for hanging clothes and the entrance hall is plenty big enough for coats and bags, we've even seen a dog crate fit very comfortably in there too.
The upside down nature of these cottages takes full advantage of the stunning views from the balcony which also interlinks with Hornbeam and Wild Cherry. A good sized kitchen with a dishwasher allows you to cook as much or as little as you like!
Chestnut is very cosy and has a smart TV with guest mode for streaming services.
This cottage is perfect for solo travellers, friends, a couple or family of 4.
Chestnut is very popular and books up quickly for key school holidays.

Who fancies a dip in this amazing hot tub? This hot tub has 6 seats, jets galore, a whirlpool function, funky lights and a couple of drinks stands (plastic only please!) set to a glorious 38.5 degrees it is the perfect spot to admire the view and relax after a busy day exploring. Another stunning morning for guests to wake up to this morning. This weekends guests have been celebrating a 70th birthday and had 3 cottages for all their family. They've had incredible weather!

🍀 Vale Farm House update 🍀
Wish us luck with the last few weeks of this mammoth project. We are excited to get this finished, it's been a really tough 12 months of renovations.
Theme of the video is 'bits and bobs' being said too many times as well as 'we are getting there' 😂 trying to convince myself that we are almost there!!
🥳Introducing a new look Rowan 🥳
We are so proud to have completed so much in 3 weeks; on top of Tom having to do all the farm work, he's worked well into the night to get this ready. We've both put so many hours into this mini renovation of our most popular holiday cottage. We hope you like it ❤️
Rowan has had over the last few months:
💚 New sofa covers
💚 Brand new beds- mattresses, bases and headboards, the kings have been upgraded to super kings, meaning full sized singles when unzipped
💚 New pillows, cushions and throws
💚 Updated lamps or shades
💚 A brand new kitchen with American fridge freezer, dishwasher, drinks fridge, a lovely range oven and more worktop space
💚 New hoover
💚 Updated utility room to match the kitchen
💚 Freshly painted everywhere apart from the small bedroom and the bathroom (we are yet to do those!)
A huge thank you to my sister and brother in law who helped pack up and take out the old kitchen, David @dp_carpentry_and_construction for installing the kitchen, fixing benches, flooring and wardrobe doors plus many other things over 2 weeks and my father in law for spending a week helping us as well. It's been a huge joint effort and I hope it will pay off.

Not a cloud in the sky 🔆 who says the weather in Wales in January is rubbish?! What a stunning day- the signs of spring are on their way too... The sound of the birds twittering away is wonderful 🐦
