We're starting to look towards spring weather and longer days... Next the Puffins will be returning and summer will soon follow.

What can we offer you for the 2024 season?

A 2 bedroom cottage offering flexible sleeping arrangements - one king bed, plus either a twin or superking second room.

Open plan living and kitchen area means you can still rustle up a meal for family and friends and still be at the hub of the conversation. Alternatively why not head into Flamborough itself where there are several excellent pubs on offer, some of which are also dog friendly such as the Rose and Crown.
If you'd rather put your feet up then order from the village's highly recommended chippy "Lighthouse Fisheries" or head to Just Eat for a easy door to door service.

We don't restrict dogs at the property. Nor do we limit numbers, we just ask you to be considerate of neighbours and not leave dogs unattended in the property.

We ask if you intend they will go upstairs just to let us know so we can use different bedding for you. We provide throws for the sofa also.
The garden has a high secure fence surrounding, where they can roam while you enjoy the evening sun.

Walks are possible from the door. Leave your car on the driveway, which can accommodate 2-3 cars.
Flamborough boasts several small cove beaches which remain dog friendly throughout.
Alternatively head along the cliffs to nearby Sewerby Hall and Bridlington or RSPB site at Bempton Cliffs.

North Landing, Flamborough. 9.30pm tonight. Beach to ourselves yet still warm.

North Landing, while being the furthest of the 5 beaches surrounding Flamborough from the cottage (but still only a couple of miles and a pavement all the way), is a sandy and yet a firm favourite for rock pooling at low tide. Boat trips also launch from here.

North Landing is one of Flamborough's favourite sandy beaches for exploring and rock pooling. But please stay safe and be mindful that especially on the left of the beach, you cannot see when you become cut off. I've seen this multiple times over the years.

Always check the local tide times before heading to the beach and remember the weather can change the effect and height of the tide.

Today has been ideal conditions to be cut off from the tides. Heavy winds and a rolling swell has got a few people wet today as they underestimated how it easy it is to get cut off down here.

My photo was taken 3 hours before high tide, the yellow dots show where people are stood and the blue dot shows where the tide has already cut them off.

This happens far too often, especially during school holidays. Please be careful with tides and if you see someone you think is in danger don't be afraid to call the coastguard on 999.

It's a lovely sunny day out in our securely fenced garden. So with some canine assistance the lawn has had a trim before it gets some needed TLC prior to the season ahead.

The website error has now been fixed and both booking and availability with prices can now be selected.
We have a minimum 3 night stay, accept upto 4 dogs as standard, and usually more after a quick chat.

Stunning day at Danes D**e, Flamborough... you can reach this all year round dog friendly beach from the cottage via a walk through local footpaths across the fields. Or jump in the car for a 2 minute drive if any humans don't fancy such a walk.

We're very pleased to say that our dates are now open for 2022 from the 1st of April

We are offering it exclusively to direct bookings for 48 hours before we open our Air B&B listing.

We accept 4 dogs as standard, there are no restrictions in the property we just ask that you let us know if your pets go all over as we supply different bedding and pet throws or you can bring your own.

Secure garden and just a couple of km walk across the fields and you're on the beach!
Flamborough beaches have no canine restrictions year round.
