This is where you can find Spud’s Spot Bridlington holiday caravan . We think it is the best small site in Bridlington.
Very smart, very quiet, exceptionally well maintained and just the right size.
If you are thinking of buying then why not get in touch to try out one of the available vans.

Apologies for this having nothing to do with the van but it is an important and very worthy cause.

Please take a few minutes to read this post and have a look at The Clothing Bank’s page.
It is a charity set up by two ladies in their back garden to help pass on clothes to so many people in need. They support hard working families who are just a few pounds over the limit to receive financial aid. These families manage to pay the bills and feed their children but have absolutely nothing left for clothing. There are young adults leaving school and going into further education but feel ashamed that they can’t afford trendy clothing. They support those fleeing domestic violence and leave with nothing. They support young children where teachers get in touch as they are going to school with no underwear, shoes which are too tight or no warm coats. The list is endless and so is the demand.
They are based in Brotherton and you can post clothes to them and they also have a drop off network.
You can also support them financially in order that they can buy new underwear etc.
As much as anything, they help to reduce the amount of clothing which goes into landfill which is a terrible waste of resources and energy.

A visit to Bondville Model Village is an absolute must for the whole family. There’s so much detail for the adults to enjoy too.

We love nothing more than seeing these big smiles at Bondville. These sisters absolutely LOVED their magical visit to Bondville 👯‍♀️

We put a lot of time and hard work into making sure the van is perfect for every set of guests and it is great to know that it is appreciated by them.
We are very grateful that they take the time to post their reviews.
September is full until the 26th.
October is free until the 18th then full to the end of the month.
November is free from the 3rd to the 22nd.
December is free from the 16th, including Christmas.
The van will be available from the beginning of March next year.
Same prices as this year, £100 per night for up to four. Everything included such as bedding, towels, tea towels, WiFi, gas and electricity.
No booking or cleaning fees and no charges for one large or two small dogs.
Book with us direct as it is cheaper than going via Airbnb.

Spud’s walk this evening on the tops from Flamborough south landing.
There are some really beautiful walks in the area but a stroll along the prom in town is as good as any. Lots of dogs stop to chat to each other and so do the owners.
We are fully booked all the way through to the end of September.
Christmas is available if anyone wants to have a seasonal break. The van is nice and warm and we don’t charge extra for heating over the winter.
We’ll even put up a Christmas tree!
£100 per night all year round for up to four persons, one large or two small dogs. No booking or cleaning fees and no charges for dogs.

It is with a heavy heart that we post this. We had considered it earlier today, but wondered whether it was wise to criticise paying guests, but after speaking to neighbours on the site we felt we had no option.

I take great pride and pleasure in cleaning every inch of the van on each changeover. I totally understand that guests are on holiday and are paying us a good price for the van, for which we are very grateful.

However, we do expect guests to respect the van, our neighbours on the site and ourselves. We strive to be open, honest and fair at all times.

I was musing as to whether to post photographs of the state things had been left in, but have now decided that I will after learning of the behaviour of the children who were staying in the van.

I was trying to work out why the net curtains were down in the small bedroom and on one side of the living room, though I know in hot weather the rubbers on the end of the telescopic net rods soften and sometimes the rods slide down. But what really confused me were the handprints on the windows, especially inside. The site manager had already told me yesterday that the children were noisy when running around late at night.

Our neighbours have just told us that the reason why the nets were down was that the children had been climbing out of the windows onto the decking and then climbing onto the decking rails and onto the grass. They said that they almost called me to let me know what was going on. I really wish that they had.

This is completely unacceptable behaviour anywhere, but especially on such a quiet and very smart site as ours is. We are mortified that our neighbours have had to put up with this and we apologise wholeheartedly.

So if you are looking for somewhere to stay on a small and very well maintained site in a van in which every inch is cleaned between guests, then you are most welcome at Spud’s Spot.

If you allow children to behave appallingly and are happy to leave pots which have allegedly been washed but are still dirty piled up, and a sink full of noodles, the Tassimo machine in a dreadful state, and leave sweet wrappers and a drinks can on the floor at the side of the bed then you are most certainly not welcome. Please look elsewhere.

We have standards and hope that our guests do too.

Excellent dietary advice from Spud’s favourite lunchtime spot….

🥰 In cutting out bread at the moment and a couple less beers 🍺 over the week.. not that I have many. Certainly helps to shift the mid riff timber. If you are trying to shift a pound or two simply ask for a cleaner salad with not too much mayo and it can do wonders for the summer body….. 😌

🥰 ALTERNATIVELY!

🤣 If you don’t give a 💩 then come grab a Super TOASTIE with lashing of mayo heaps of cheese a pot of creamy coleslaw and wash it down with a pint of milkshake 🤣 or a couple of pints 🍺🍺😆👌

Spud is certainly enjoying the shade in the corner of the decking whilst we are preparing the van for the couple this afternoon who are bringing their dog with them.
