Key to the chalets are obtained from a keycode safe which is situated next to the chalet door, guests will be notified of the code just before their stay. The main bedroom has a faux leather framed double bed, a pine double wardrobe and pine set of drawers there is a wall mounted radiator for heating. The second bedroom has full size white bunk beds a pine wardrobe and pine set of draws, this too
has a wall mounted electric radiator also a variety of toys and books for children. Free standing heaters for the colder months are provided if needed. In March 2021 we have replaced the door in 86A to a patio door and also had a new kitchen window fitted. A new lounge window is to be fitted in 86B at the beginning of April 2021.
86B is a mirror image of 86A however the double bed and bunk beds are pine wooden framed. The kitchen has a ceramic hob and a microwave/oven combi not a free standing cooker. Quality linen( quilt covers etc) can be provided for stays of 4 nights and over at an additional cost of £15 per booking, payable direct to the owners. Please make your request when booking. Guests must bring their own towels. Quilts, pillows, blankets also Tea towels/dish cloths, toilet roll, coffee/tea and other essentials are provided for all stays
The open plan lounge/kitchen has ample cupboard space, electric toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge with ice box and a full size electric cooker. There is a wall mounted fire, a leather sofa, tv/Dvd player. There is a pine drop leaf table with 4 foldaway chairs. This area of the chalet has benefit of the morning sun making it light & airy. The bathroom has toilet, sink, mirror and electric shower. Electric is via a meter which takes £1 & £2 coins, there will be a small credit at the beginning of your stay. There is little monetary gain from this for the owners. The outdoor patio has a surrounding fence with gate, a small clothes airer, outside light and picnic table/benches for outside dining.
*Well behaved pets welcome*. We request that owners do not allow pets on the furniture unless a suitable cover is brought by the owner and used to protect furnishings. We charge £10 per booking for up to 2 dogs. Approx 3 minutes walk to a dog friendly award winning beach (some restrictions for dogs during peak season). Adjacent to the site is South Cliff caravan park where you can use their facilities free of charge. They have Makis Leisure Club (restaurant and entertainment) it has 3 bars, includes regular live acts and Bingo. Also Mini Market, multi sport recreation area, amusement arcade, launderette, fish & chip shop and tennis courts. Please note facilities are limited out of season. Supermarkets Morrisons, Bessingby Road Bridlington YO16 4SJ and Tesco, Station Approach Bridlington YO15 3EP are 2.4 and 2.6 miles away respectively. The holiday site is close to the Bridlington ‘park & ride’ terminus (seasonal) making this an ideal location for ease of access to Bridlington by either taking this regular bus service or for the more active taking a leisurely stroll along the beach and promenade which takes approx 20/30 min to the centre of Bridlington.
