If you’re visiting us, fossil hunting is a brilliant way to while away a few hours on the beach! Either ‘go it alone’ and see what you find, take any findings to the (brilliant) Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre or even book into one of their Fossil Hunting Walks to get all the help and info you need. Who knows, you too could soon be finding one of these beauties 🤩

Popple’s Nook is situated just a few metres away from the SW Coastal Path, so a good stopover if you’re walking it all, or as a base to walk a couple of sections of it over a few days. If you are planning doing any of it at any time, this new Passport looks fantastic, and will definitely add a lovely bit of memorabilia to your journey ☀️

The new statue of Mary Anning was unveiled yesterday and this morning Mary experienced the first sunrise from her vantage point looking out across East Cliff and Black Ven towards Charmouth.

Just had a delivery this morning from Jurassic Soap Kitchen ahead of our Jurassic Art and Craft Fayre tomorrow!

They have delivered more ammonite, trilobite and devils toenail fossil soaps! And new to our gift shop anthracite clay soap dishes!

The Fayre tomorrow is 10am-4pm and your chance to buy locally made gifts for Christmas! All proceeds from our raffle and tombola go to our educational charity!
