I have worked in the travel industry for 26 years starting my career in an independent travel agency and moving to a multiple high street agency where I gained promotion to Store Manager and remained for 18 years. I decided to become a personal Travel Counsellor because I love what I do and i

t’s more than a job to me. I take pride in offering the highest levels of customer service and enjoy building relationships with my customers rather than just transactions. I chose to join Travel Counsellors because they care about their customers and that is the most important thing to me. They have state of the art technology along with full head office support to help me in my role. I am married and have a daughter aged 13, so I understand the pressures on family life and that efficient and reliable service means a lot to my customers. I love that I can work more flexible hours to suit my customers’ needs as they can contact me at any time of the day or night. I love my job and work very hard and I am always available even out of normal working office hours to ensure that I can speak to my customers when it’s suitable for them. My priority is finding the holiday which is right for you and I pride myself on providing excellent customer service regardless of what type of holiday you book. It is important to me that you are looked after before, during and after your holiday. I am here to make sure everything runs smoothly. Today is Small Business Saturday

I started my business with Travel Counsellors back in September 2013 after being made redundant from Thomas Cook. It was a huge step, but I have never looked back.
As a small business, I can honestly say I truly care about you and your holiday and will do my utmost to ensure you have a wonderful time, make lots of memories and that your arrangements all go as planned.
I wanted to send a huge THANK YOU 🥰🙏, to all my customers for supporting my business, I will always be, and am truly grateful for every booking you make with me 😍

If you don’t book holidays with me or don’t travel, that’s OK, every like and share of my posts is still support and does make a huge difference to my business, so I am grateful for each share and 👍 too.

Travel Counsellors Conference 2024 Sunday

We were treated to a fabulous talk by Nile Rodgers this morning about his youth and the amazing range of artists he has collaborated with over the years. It was a pleasure to listen to him. This was followed by a talk from Bruce P**n Tip who is the founder of G Adventures, he delivered a very thought provoking presentation on tourism around the world.

Sara Davis returned for a second year with some amazing business tips and advice on being an entrepreneur and she will be working closely with us at travel counsellors over the next 12 months, which is very exciting! She will be offering valuable knowledge and insights into the world of being an entrepreneur.

Overall the conference has been a fantastic experience and thank you to all our head office team who made it possible.

Travel Counsellors conference 2024 - Saturday

What a jam packed day. Early start but a fantastic day. Travel Counsellors 30 year anniversary.

Brilliant motivational speakers. Mo Gawdat, an Egyptian entrepreneur. He was brilliant to listen to. I was putting into practice on my bus journey home, how grateful I was for being warm and dry, rather than any negative thoughts, definitely check out his podcast.

Tom Cheesewright, on the way travel will possibly look in the future, and followed by Jo Malone 😲 she was fantastic to listen to and learn about her story. If you can, read her book, both very motivational and inspiring people.

In the evening, our Gala dinner to celebrate 30 years and the top TC’s in the world, congratulations to all the winners, all very deserving of the awards 👏🏻👏🏻

A fabulous night topped off with Nile Rogers 😮😍😍

Amazing day🤩 want to do it all again please 🙏

Travel Counsellors conference 2024 🤩

Wow what a weekend 😍
I came down Thursday evening to spend time with my friend and colleague Michelle. We both started at Travel Counsellors 11 years ago together, so it’s lovely to see her in person rather than on Skype! And then Vicky my friend and colleague for years prior to TC, going back to our Going Places days!
Friday was a great catch up suppliers and colleagues at our TCTM, followed by Apres T-Ski party Friday night. A great evening with an ABBA tribute band and also our Vernon Kay was hosting again. Brilliant night but didn’t have a go on the ice rink ⛸️

I'm back from a great cruise holiday on P&O Arvia and in the office ready for a busy week catching up and cracking on with the enquiries which have come in over the last week.

I’ve just sailed on P&O Arvia and we’ve had a great time. It was a 4 night cruise to Bruges & Cherbourg, we booked as it landed on half term, but boy were we fortunate with the weather, we could have been in Spain it was so warm!
We really enjoyed the ship. She’s 2 years old and she was beautiful. All the public areas were pristine, really well maintained and laid out.
Lots to do on board if you wanted, or if like us chill in the sky dome watching the world go by.
We tried to eat in as many different places as possible but didn’t get round to them all with it being a shorter cruise, but we loved The Quays & The Keel & Cow.
We’ve really enjoyed our time on Arvia and great to experience a cruise on P&O’s newest ship and we wouldn’t hesitate to sail again on her.
