Good morning from the city of London - an impromptu detour for us! 🏤

Let’s kick off the day with a fun fact about one of London’s most iconic landmarks - Big Ben!

Did you know that Big Ben isn’t actually the name of the clock tower itself?

The name originally referred to the Great Bell inside the tower, which chimes every hour. The tower was officially called the Clock Tower until 2012, when it was renamed Elizabeth Tower in honor of Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee.

Another fascinating tidbit - Big Ben has a slight tilt!

Over the years, due to underground tunneling and changes in the ground beneath it, the tower leans ever so slightly to the northwest. But don’t worry, it’s not going anywhere anytime soon!

This is our first time at Stansted Airport, and I have to say, I’m quite impressed with how convenient their parking is for drop-offs and pick-ups.

It’s easy to navigate, and best of all, it doesn’t cost the earth (free for the first hour)! Definitely makes the airport run a lot less stressful.
