Over the Rainbow- Buenos Aires to Rio

This Journey is full of highlights, Buenos Aires staying in the trendy Palermo neighbourhood is the perfect place to start this Latin American adventure.

Must see's in this vibrant city include Boca where the famous football stadium is surrounded by bright buildings and street Tango shows.

Recoleta is a decadent neighbourhood and the Cementerio de la Recoleta is the resting place of Eva Peron.

The locals have their dinner around 10pm but food and wine here are exceptional.

Puerto Iguazu
Fly to Puerto Iguazu, the Argentinian side of the Falls. Walking through Iguazu National Park there are stunning viewpoints and customers can also take to the water in a Macuco Safari boat tour for a bit more a thrill.

Leaving for Brazil, an airport to airport transfer has been included.
Brazil
Next you will fly on to Rio De Janeiro where they will be staying on Copacabana beach. Here you can relax, explore or dance the night away. Rio is a party city famous for the annual Carnival in February. Here we exchanged the sultry tango for the lively Samba!

And the answer is . . . Igauzu Falls in Argentina- well done to everyone who guessed correctly. 😎
Igauzu Falls or Foc de Igaucu can be viewed from both Argentina and Brazil, and I thoroughly recommend viewing from both sides as you get rewarded with a completely different perspective.
I recommend a day for the Argentinian side and at least 1/2 day for the Brazilian side.
Watch out tomorrow for a fantastic tailormade itinerary featuring these amazing waterfalls! 😎

Switzerland Day 16 - Bonus Day! ~ Zurich
Thanks to our flight being cancelled we had an extra 24 hours in Zurich! It happens to the best of us! 😎
It’s important to know your rights in this scenario.
If you are travelling to/from the UK, then the airline you travelling on is responsible for reprotecting you onto the next available flight.
If this means (like in our case) you need to stay overnight then they also have to provide accommodation and food. Quite often it’s the case you may need to source and pay for this yourselves and then claim the expenses off the airline. Keep all receipts!
So this meant we had an extra day in Zurich. 😀
We started out by exploring the old town, with its windy streets, chic restaurants and quirky shops. Then we headed to the lake - it was a beautiful 28 degrees and the lakeside was full of families and friends chilling out in the sun and utilising the numerous little bathing spots. Zurich has a lovely, very chilled, very civilised vibe to it, for such a big city.
We had dinner near the lake, before heading back to the airport for our second attempt at getting home. The flight was slightly delayed but we made it.
Switzerland you have been absolutely incredible.
Amazing memories made.
