Are you interested in playing piano? Perhaps you used to play and want to pick it up again. Do you have a child who is interested in learning? Are you interested in music theory? Do you need grade 5 theory to progress with performance exams? Do you want to study for graded exams or play just for the joy of it? Would you like a free 30 minute taster session?

I teach all ages and abilities from complete beginners and re-starters to those playing beyond Grade 8 standard. I have tutored students to achieve distinction in ABRSM exams and to access music scholarships. Each teaching session is individually tailored to meet your specific learning needs. I use a variety of teaching texts and repertoire, along with materials that I have developed myself. I also use relevant music theory and history to improve understanding. Together we will discover your talent and develop your skills so you really enjoy playing the piano.

I have been teaching piano and music theory since 2011. I teach both face to face and online, whichever works best for you. I am DBS checked and can provide testimonials from other clients on request. I offer reasonable prices in line with The Musicians' Union recommended teaching rates.
