Moon shining brightly
Knowing, wishing , that we
Here on Earth made a choice
Realise it’s more that just me , me , them, them but an entire universe to consider
Burning, yearning we destroy ourselves in the burning fires of desires …
For what
To obtain what we already have
If we could only see
Beyond our egos
Beyond our hurts
Beyond and into our hearts
To join again, with the cosmos we came from and to which we will again join , but first , heal before we all become stars in a distant dark sky
Forever wondering …….why?

Who is loving this beautiful weather? ☀️

One thing we love about Brighton, is that it is naturally air conditioned simply by being on the coast. Nothing beats a hot summers day, by being by the sea and enjoying the fresh breeze.

Last night we enjoyed drinks at whilst watching people enjoying themselves- almost forgetting about the pandemic and purely living in the moment.

We’re ready to show you beautiful Brighton when you are. Send us a DM or visit brightonwalks.com to book yourself on one of our unique walking tours.

Let’s get our summer back!

White cliffs are a statement feature in the South Coast of Britain and these majestic chalk structures can be dated back to the last Ice Age.

Around 60,000 years ago, the cliffs at Black Rock in Brighton were a popular roaming site for woolly mammoth’s and fossils of the woolly mammoth are still contained within them.

Today, the popular ‘Undercliff Walk’ spans almost 5km from Black Rock in Brighton to Saltdean and provides stunning views for walkers, runners and cyclists alike.

Are you still waiting to explore what the Brighton has to offer? Send us a DM or visit brightonwalks.com and let us show you the beauty of Brighton.

Now who doesn’t love the sun, live music and flowing drinks? We certainly do!

Brighton Music Hall is the perfect place for all of the above, as well as gorgeous views of the beach literally right in front of you. We really enjoyed our time there last weekend and will definitely be making more use of their venue!

Spanning 8 old Victorian Arches on the beach front, offers probably the biggest outside terrace in Britain and it’s a great place to make the most of the gorgeous weather and getting that fresh air you desperately need.

Sounds like a pretty good place to unwind after a Walking Tour with Brighton Walks, don’t you think? 😉

It’s time to explore- send us a DM or visit brightonwalks.com to book your walking tour today.

‘Fresh air is best’ 🌤

It felt soo good and free to be out and about in Brighton this weekend, seeing local businesses reopening and people starting to venture out again.

The feeling of freedom is something we’ve slowly forgotten about, to the point where it actually feels ‘normal’ to be told what we can and can’t do. Slowly, being free will become normal once again as it should, and will never be taken for granted.

Let’s celebrate the little wins, taking things step by step and remembering that ‘fresh air is best’. Getting fresh air can increase your energy, improve digestion and relieve stress and anxiety.

We can’t wait to show off Brighton and we’re here to show you how beautiful it really is, when you’re ready.

Send us a message or visit brightonwalks.com to enquire about our upcoming Walking Tours.

‘Probably the most elegant Viaduct in Britain’

If there was a ‘must have’ picture to take during lockdown, we’re pretty sure that this iconic brick structure has become one of the most photographed places in the south.

The Ouse Valley Viaduct is a stunning, 11 million brick Grade II listed building, which carries the London-Brighton Railway line over the River Ouse.

Opened in 1841, the magnificent arches span a total length of 1,480ft and stands at almost 100ft high.

Although not on one of our walks, it’s difficult not to appreciate this wonder when out on a walk around Haywards Heath this weekend.

Planning on visiting the area? Join us for a guided Walking Tour and learn things the local way. Send us a DM or visit brightonwalks.com 👣

‘The finest pier ever built’

Opened in 1899, the 1,722ft Brighton Palace Pier has been the iconic home of seaside entertainment for over 120 years, seeing the likes of Stan Laurel, Charlie Chaplin and the Spice Girls perform here.

Today, the Grade II listed building still attracts around 4 million tourists a year and is said to be the most visited UK tourist attractions outside of London.

We’re excited for to reopen on the 12th April and can’t wait to show you why she is one of the finest piers ever built.

‘Passacaglia’ by Charles Hadcock, has been a familiar sight on Brighton Beach since 1998.

Made out of recycled cast iron, the stunning sculpture is curved in shape to resemble a giant wave crashing onto the beach and weighs a whopping 20 tonnes.
..and you can’t ignore the amazing in the background, too!

Ditching Beacon, the highest point of East Sussex sitting at 814ft above sea level.

As the name suggests, Ditchling Beacon was once one of a chain of ‘fire’ beacons stretching along the South Downs dating from the medieval periods, which warned locals of coastal attacks.

Today, it remains as a perfect location for stunning 360’ views of the South Downs and the southern Coastline, with Brighton visible on clear days.

Be a local and explore what the beautiful south has to offer. Book a Walking Tour with Brighton Walks today by sending us a message or visit brightonwalks.com.

‘Alice’, by Eelus.

Rev. Charles Dodgson, otherwise known as Lewis Carroll to most of us, enjoyed many summers in Brighton and was fascinated by the secret tunnel that ran from Lewes Crescent down to the beachfront.

It is said that the wonder of this tunnel inspired Carroll enough to immortalise it in his 150 year old classic, ‘Alice In Wonderland’.

Signifying and celebrating Brighton’s connection to Carroll, this impressive piece of captures the scene of Alice discovering the rabbit hole and is found in Brighton’s own rabbit warren, The Lanes.

Legend has it that Devils D**e was created by the Devil himself...

Sussex was the last of the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms to embrace the ‘new’ faith of Christianity, which lost the Devil his last stronghold in England.
Furious, he tore a large trench through the South Downs in order to exterminate the inhabitants of Sussex Weald by way of flooding from the English Channel, which now leaves what we know today as Devil’s D**e.

Whether you believe in folklore or not, we can all agree that the view from Devils D**e and the South Downs is stunning.
Can anyone guess which gorgeous seaside city can be seen in the far left of this picture?

‘Haven’ on earth...

Located next to the famous Seven Sisters chalk cliffs, Cuckmere Haven is an area of flood plain where the meandering river Cuckmere meets the English Channel.

Did you know? Cuckmere Haven is also home to the Shipwreck of German cargo ship the ‘Polynesia’, which ran aground in 1890 and can be seen from here in low tide.

Yes, this is in Sussex and yes, you can visit here as part of a Walking Tour with Brighton Walks! Send us a message or visit brightonwalks.com today.
